We are now looking for a Data Engineer to improve our data processing.
You could be a perfect match for the position if
You want to:
- Have the freedom to make technical decisions and work on exciting and ambitious tasks.
- Support existing ETL pipelines (SQL, Python, GCP stack)
- Add new entities to datasets
- Optimize existing bottlenecks (query performance etc.) and close existing tech debt
- Answer data-related questions
You have:
- 2+ years of experience in data engineer role.
- Strong SQL knowledge: your SQL queries are to be efficient and self-explanatory (this will be the biggest part of work)
- Basic knowledge of core Python, followed by hands-on experience with it
Experience in optimizing SQL queries - Familiarity with Cloud
- English level - Upper-intermediate +.
Pleasant extras:
- Experience in building data pipelines, ETL design
- Apache Spark will be a big plus,
- Databricks platform
- Familiarity with Apache Airflow
- Experience with different SQL/NoSQL databases (PostreSQL, ClickHouse, etc.)
