Job Description
Data Engineer with full stack development skills who deliver back end data engineering and pipeline creation while simultaneously working on the software engineering and front end development components to deliver full scope delivery of a product. Designs, develops and implements data and analytics cloud-based analytics platforms (DAP) and pipelines which acquire, cleanse, transform and publish data. Assemble large, complex data sets which meets functional and non-functional business requirements. Partners with data asset managers and architects to ensure technical solution provides data which is fit for use and in line with architecture blueprints. Leverages coding standards and best practices to ensure efficient and re-usable services and components.
Job Qualifications

Experience with ETL in SQL (ANSI,TSQL,MySQL) and NoSQL data stores

Experience in coding languages like R and Python
-
Experience with data (store, model, analyze)
-
Experience with data analytics (Databricks) & integration (ADF)
-
Experience with cloud technologies (esp. Microsoft Azure stack)
-
Familiarity or experience leading IT products through the full product lifecycle from design to development to operations

Familiarity or experience with a range of data engineering best practices for development including query optimization, version control, code reviews and documentation

Experience with software engineering and front end development holistic of data integration

Understanding of business principles and operations

Skills in data visualization (Tableau, PowerBI)

Advanced communication and interpersonal skills

Passionate about data and solving business problems

Preferred experience with Streaming Technologies (Kafka)

Preferred knowledge and/or experience with CI/CD tools
