Job Description

ROLE

You will be working from Office in India, collaborating and socialising with your colleagues across our two UK and Bulgaria Offices.

You have experience in managing large-scale Power BI deployments and migrations and are comfortable guiding clients on how to embed actionable BI into their overall data strategies. You will have keen business and requirements analysis skills, able to translate business needs into reports and data stories that deliver value. Familiarity with other reporting tools and approaches is a big plus.

As a Data Engineer (Power BI Consultant) expect to be:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning and delivering Enterprise rollout and migration to Power BI including Power BI architecture design, governance and driving adoption
• Gathering, clarifying and developing requirements with stakeholders of all seniority levels
• Evaluate structured and unstructured datasets utilizing statistics, data mining, and predictive analytics to gain additional business insights.
• Design, develop, and implement data processing pipelines at scale.
• Maintaining a working knowledge of Modern Data Warehouse frameworks to be able to offer advice to clients on how and when to consider these technologies in support of their overall data strategies.
• Write and refine code to ensure performance and reliability of data extraction and processing.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Business and Requirements analysis.
• Development experience with Power BI.
• Strong SQL development skills.
• Development experience with shell scripts.
• Experience tuning SQL queries to ensure performance and reliability.
• Software engineering best-practices, including version control (Git, TFS, JIRA, etc.) and test-driven development.
• Minimum 4 Years’ experience in Power BI design and development for creating insightful, interactive, and aesthetically pleasing reporting solutions.
• Experience in Data Gateways and Administering a Power BI Tenancy
• Participating in delivering Power BI content for internal/external community.
• Strong communication skills
