ABOUT THE ROLE:
Are you a data enthusiast with a passion for big data and data engineering? In this key role, you'll be a crucial part of our data squads, responsible for developing and maintaining new big data platforms and data products.
YOUR MISSION?: To build data pipelines that ingest, transform, and prepare data from various sources into our datahub platform and data products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Technical Analysis: Dive deep into technical requirements and analyze data needs.
- Development: Create robust data pipelines using DataStage.
- Testing: Ensure everything works perfectly with thorough testing.
- Packaging & Delivery: Package and deliver your solutions efficiently.
- Solve Production Issues: Be the go-to person for resolving production problems.
- Coordinate with IT OPS: Work closely with IT OPS to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to Agile Meetings: Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the team's success.
- Share Developments: Present your work in development reviews.
- Feedback Loop: Exchange constructive feedback with your development team.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts: Work alongside Business Analysts to align on requirements and solutions.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Technical Tools:
- DataStage (11.7 / Designer / Monitor)
- Linux Red Hat / Shell Unix / MobaXterm / Putty
- Oracle / SQL Developer
- Flows CFT / GPG
- JIRA, Confluence, Teams
- GIT
Skills & Experience:
-Business Skills:
- Strong relationship management between business and IT.
- Knowledge of banking industry and processes (nice to have).
-Transversal Skills:
- Agile methodology experience.
-Behavioral Skills:
- Attention to detail and rigorous.
- Ability to understand, explain, and support change.
- Results-driven and able to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Project management skills (bonus).
-Languages:
- English: C1 or higher.
- French: B2 or higher (nice to have).
