Role overview

Mundipharma, a leading pharmaceutical company, is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Business Analyst to join our team in Cambridge on a 6-month contract. This is a crucial role, and we are eager to find the right candidate quickly!

About the Role:

  • Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from diverse stakeholders (HR, supply chain, manufacturing) regarding data and BI needs.
  • Collaborate closely with system owners in developing and maintaining our Data Dictionary.
  • Migrate dashboards from Qlik and Tableau to Power BI and a central data warehouse.
  • Develop clear specifications for data and visualizations, driving development and testing of replacement solutions.
  • Produce detailed descriptions of reference data needed for BI and integration solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business analysis within a commercial environment.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling (conceptual/physical models).
  • Proficiency in SQL (MS and Oracle) and RDBMS.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to articulate complex data concepts clearly.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred, Tableau/SSRS beneficial).
  • Exposure to reference data management/data mapping.
  • Ability to create clear, unambiguous specification documents.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus.
