Job Summary
The Billing Data Specialist will support the Firm’s project closure automation tool, billing data tasks submitted through the billing directive tool, and shared billing mailboxes. They will perform high volume daily tasks related to these two tools and must be able to read and understand detailed process documents, have strong organization, prioritization, time management skills and the ability to analyze and problem solve. These tasks are critical to the firm’s revenue recognition processes. This role will also support continued development, enhancements and testing of both tools in collaboration with the Billing Data Supervisor.
Essential Duties
Perform high volume daily tasks related to supporting the project closure automation tool, billing directive tool data tasks, and respond to/action billing mailbox items. Tasks include but are not limited to, loading the project closure tool with projects to be closed and correcting/actioning projects that fail to process correctly and come back with an action required status; updating optional project hierarchies, target realizations, primary biller roles, bill to customer changes, and billing schedule setup; intaking shared billing mailbox emails and actioning as appropriate.
Collaborate with Billing Data Supervisor and other finance leaders to continue to refine both tools by bringing new ideas to the table that will enhance automation and efficiency.
Other Workday billing tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree is required
