How you will help us grow:
- Design, develop, and implement a flexible, scalable, and secure enterprise data architecture that supports high volume data ingestion, storage, and analytics.
- Develop data models and schema designs optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Implement data pipelines and processes to extract, load, and transform data from various sources into a modern data warehouse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data systems are servicing the needs of customers, internal product development, and business intelligence applications.
- Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to support data management, analytics, and visualization.
- Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Document technical designs, code, and processes for maintainability.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data management and analytics and evaluate their potential impact on our business.
Experience you bring:
- 10+ years of professional experience working as a Data Architect or in a similar role, preferably in a startup or small company environment.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g.SQL, Python, R)
- Strong proficiency in database design, data modeling, data architecture, and system security.
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing and data integration tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Familiarity with geospatial data systems, standards, and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
