Creates and implements blueprints for data management systems to integrate, centralize, protect and maintain data sources
Responsibilities

Establish best practices in data technologies and data warehousing to collect and analyze large volumes of data, advancing efficiency optimization, predictive analytics, and BI reporting tools.

Guide the organization in efficient data and resource management, best practices with Cloud-based big data, and data warehouse and reporting platforms and services.

Establish best practices for data-related technical infrastructure including scalability, security, performance, data recovery, reliability.

Design and develop Business Intelligence solutions.

Design and document data structures/models and data flows.
-
Interact with various business units and technical teams to gather requirements.
-
Review and optimize current ETL processes.
-
Accountable to ensure data quality and accuracy of data systems and sources
-
This position may require availability outside of standard business hours as part of a rotational on-call schedule
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field

Experience with languages such as Java, Python, SQL, XML, Hive, Pig, and Spark, Kafka.

Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Kubernetes, Pig, HBase, Hive, Spark, Kafka
-
Experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems
-
Experience with data warehousing solutions
-
In depth knowledge of database architecture

Extensive experience with Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) tools, spreadsheets and BI tools

Extensive data modeling and system development experience

Analytical problem solving

Effective Communication

Work experience in the healthcare industry including clinical, financial and operational data
