As a Quant Analyst Associate, in our Home Lending Data and Analytics team, you will perform reporting and data analysis functions in support of the various functional areas of Chase Mortgage Banking.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with business functional area counterparts to develop interactive dashboards and management reporting using business intelligence software
  • Work on SQL Server, Teradata, and Oracle databases including creation of Functions, Procedures and Triggers, as well as designing and developing data structures (data marts, cubes) that enable reporting and analytics to be developed efficiently.
  • Create SSRS reports and utilize SSIS packages for the ETL functionality
  • Partner with business owners to implement new data sources and ensure consistent definitions in reporting and analytics
  • Generate ideas for improvement in reporting as well as new ways of looking at information using visualization tools such as Tableau and SSRS
  • Develop, test, and implement daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports that enable data driven business decisions using BI tools
  • Integrate Home Lending Data analytics with Hadoop, Hive, Python and other big data tools


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • College degree, or specialized training or equivalent work experience; 5+ years of Business Analyst work experience
  • 3+ experience working with Business Intelligence (SSRS, SSIS, Tableau, Alteryx, SAS, JIRA, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience in analyzing complex processes and systems
  • Experience in writing and interpreting SQL and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans.
  • Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development, and analysis
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, to include solid experience writing business requirements and functional specifications


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience working in a Financial Services company preferred
