We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern to support our growing Data team at Yepoda. In this role, you will work with various data sources, assist in transforming raw data into valuable insights, and collaborate with different stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making. 

Your Tasks

• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.

• Develop and maintain customized dashboards for various teams.

• Address ad-hoc data analysis requests, and utilize SQL to query databases and extract relevant information for analysis.

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor bugs, ensuring smooth functionality.

• Work with dbt (data build tool) to transform and model data for reporting purposes.

• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and analytical workflows.

• Write Python scripts to automate data manipulation tasks and perform analysis.

• Assist in data integration, cleaning, and analysis from various sources.

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled or recently obtained a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in SQL.

• Experience or interest in learning Python and its libraries for data manipulation and analysis (e.g. Pandas).

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

• A growth mindset and willingness to learn from mistakes.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively under guidance.

Nice to have:

• Experience with dbt (data build tool) or similar data transformation tools.

• Familiarity with tools like LookerStudio, BigQuery, Jupyter Notebooks, GitHub.

• Prior work experience related to data analysis or data science.
