Dealerware’s team is currently hiring for a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will report directly to the Data Engineering Manager, supporting the data collection and analysis of key programs and customer usage in order to inform business decisions and priorities. This role will be vital in defining and articulating success across the customer lifecycle to both internal and external stakeholders.
As a Data Analyst, you will:
- Produce agnostic dashboards for Dealers, Dealer Groups, and OEMs
- Own and develop the metrics formulas and catalog
- Develop and apply subject matter expertise in the mobility and fleet management business; be the subject matter expert on all things Dealerware platform data
- Develop and distribute internal metrics to optimize Dealerware operations
- Uncover trends and anomalies to help streamline customer and internal workflows
- Support teams by generating reports, dashboards and other ad-hoc analyses
- Lead and perform data audits and scenario testing to ensure data accuracy
- Ability to quickly identify potential issues across systems and data sets
- Analyze data from various, often disparate, systems to provide insights and recommendations to business teams
- Combine and analyze complex data sets to derive information and insights
- Help establish and drive data governance best practices and policies
- Work cross-functionally to collect, understand, and document internal and external data needs
- Work with Product and Engineering to scope and prioritize needs to build into Dealerware product(s)
Required qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience working with complex data sets and performing data analysis
- Expert experience with Excel and Google docs, including complex formula builds, pivot tables, v-lookups, auditing data
- Experience in automation tools and process flow logic
- Knowledgeable in SQL queries
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Thirst and aptitude for learning new software systems and platforms
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Keen ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
- Experience with the following tools preferred: Looker/ThoughtSpot, Snowflake, Workato, Gainsight, Excel (Advanced), Complex Formula builds
