Reporting to the Head of Data Science & Analytics, the Data Analyst plays a critical role in giving our care teams and the business reliable, consistent answers.  They will be responsible for delivering well-defined, tested, and documented business intelligence tools that will allow users to do their own analysis.  We are looking for someone who is excited to work at a tech startup and use their data abilities to make a lasting impact in peoples’ lives.

Responsibilities:

• Develops customized, dynamic, and aesthetically-pleasing on-line reports and dashboards in Sigma
• Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency of information
• Work directly with leadership and their teams, helping them leverage data and technology to maximize business impact
• Write queries to pull/summarize/analyze data primarily from BigQuery data sets
• Document data sources, data models, and reporting procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
• Proficient in business intelligence tools
• Proficient in SQL
• Experience working with analytical datasets and data warehouses
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

• Experience in healthcare or health insurance data analysis
• Experience with BigQuery
• Experience with Sigma
• Certification in data visualization, UI/UX, or graphic design
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment
