How do we work?

The data scientist will be responsible for supporting various teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. Able to use large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and use models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. They must have experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, and be confident to build and implement models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations with some guided support.

In this role, you will:

• Build, deploy, and maintain statistical and machine learning models and data pipelines.

• Work with structured and unstructured raw data to design and develop innovative predictive models, metrics, and dashboards to uncover actionable insights.

• Leverage extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of advanced analytic methods and machine learning algorithms.

• Make recommendations to improve data and analytics systems and platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement and refinement of data and analytics strategy.

• Collate and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods and formats

• Prepare various data and analytics reports.

• Support interpretation of advanced and predictive analytics data, using specialized software tools and functionalities.

What skillset you need, to be successful in this role:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience as a Data Scientist or a relevant role 

• Advanced skills in using Python and SQL

• Deep understanding and wide experience of statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.

• Experience with GCP/AWS/Azure, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus 

• Knowledge of enterprise business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Domo

• Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
