Job Description

Our team is looking for a talented and driven Data Analyst to enhance our capabilities. The perfect match for this role will deliver values by taking data and communicate the results to help make business decisions.

The aim is to empower our business clients to make more informed decisions by leveraging advanced data analytics, compelling data visualization, and robust data modeling techniques.

You will be key in transforming data into insights that drive our business strategies and objectives.

Responsibilities: 

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain data visualizations using BI tools or Matplotlib.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Design, implement, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
• Conduct statistical analyses and develop predictive models to support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement data-driven solutions to enhance business operations.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits and the development of data validation processes.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data analysis within the organization.
• Provide training and support to team members and business users on data analysis techniques and tools.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle to integrate data analytics solutions into existing systems.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new data analytics tools and technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SQL language.
• Good knowledge of Python language data programming (datasets & dataframes modules).
• Good knowledge of BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik) or Matplotlib (or similar modules).
• Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms.
• In depth Data modeling and design of Data pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Good spoken and written English language skills.
• Business insights in one of the domains: Finance/Payment, Healthcare, Banking or Telco.
• Good understanding of Cloud data related services (Azure, AWS).
• Basic knowledge of OOP programming languages.
• Basic knowledge of big data technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and ethical considerations in data analysis.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information

• Experience with AWS set of analytics services (Amazon Athena, Kinesis, Quick Sight).
• Experience in large international projects working with multicultural teams.
• Experience working offshore, nearshore and on site with co-located and distributed teams.
• Experience with Jupyter notebook to prototype data flow through code and transformations. 
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in data projects.
