The Role

The Digital Out-of-Home Account Executive will play a key role in prospecting, developing, and maintaining client relationships while gaining deep industry knowledge and contributing to Place Exchange’s continued success. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to learn about out of home and programmatic advertising. This person will report into the Group Sales Director. 

What is the role?

Place Exchange is seeking a Data Analyst who is passionate about solving problems at scale and to further business and data products. You will be working closely with commercial, analytics, and engineering teams. The focus will be to support and develop processes and procedures to efficiently help our clients, data products, and internal stakeholders. Some of the things you will be responsible can include:

  • Working with commercial team members to help understand and diagnose data concerns,

  • Working closely with Data & Analytics team to support daily and monthly operations

  • Work independently to efficiently analyze and create reports

  • Establish and improve current visualization tasks and comparisons

  • Help perform critical analyses of BI and spreadsheet reports, both for internal and external usage

  • Communicate between teams as a technical liaison to help achieve common goals

  • Work closely with engineers and business leaders on a daily basis

  • Evangelize best practices and help drive adoption of new features that increase inventory monetization and success of our partners

  • Act as partner with Place Exchange Product and Engineering teams to help drive product roadmap

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking mindset

  • Familiarity with basic probability and statistical analysis is a plus.

  • A natural curiosity of how things work and can quickly learn new technologies and tools 

  • Experience with SQL and various business intelligence or reporting tools such as Looker or Tableau.

  • Experience with Python. Snowflake, and AWS is a major plus.

  • Some familiarity with software engineering best practices is a major plus, such as testing, static analysis, continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.

  • Familiarity with the ad tech ecosystem and key trends

  • Some experience working with demand-side platforms (DSP), programmatic trading desks, supply-side platforms (SSP), ad servers, and data management platforms (DMPs). 

  • Some experience working with web languages/standards such as HTML, JSON, VAST, REST APIs is a major plus.

  • Satisfaction collaborating with people to get work done, but know when to take ownership of a task.

  • Effectively demonstrate the ability to communicate across groups, locations and cultures, in-person and virtually.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively present technical products to non-technical audiences.

Compensation

For those based in New York City, the expected compensation for this role at time of hire is a salary range of $70,000 to $9,000 plus annual bonus and stock options. Exact compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers as well as market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position and the location of the candidate. A candidate’s compensation will be based on the role and level they are hired for, which may be different than the role they applied for.
