Job Description
Get to Know the Team
The ID Driver Operations team manages the end-to-end driver lifecycle on the platform starting from onboarding, engagement, training to retention. The team guides initiative across hundreds of cities where Grab operates in ID. The team develops framework and processes and works with the relevant operations teams located in the respective cities to ensure SOP are followed and best practices are shared amongst city teams. The team also monitors cities performance in achieving their Goals and assists in troubleshooting issues.
Get to Know the Role
As an Analyst for Driver Operations team, you will use data-driven insights to develop operation strategy across the different functions such as driver onboarding and retention. You will work with several stakeholders such as the teams who handle Driver Onboarding, Engagement, and Training, and Payment and Incentive Operations. You will also also help provide data / insights necessary for cross-function projects. You will be based onsite in our Head Office in Jakarta and reporting to the Head of Driver Operations.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Perform in-depth analysis daily, using internal data and sometimes external data when available. Analysis can be from three perspectives: customers side such as:
- customer behavior, use cases and other patterns to give insight to management on how to capture the business potential
- driver partners such as: working behavior, financial side / unit economics for each transaction
- Create reports/dashboards that allow Ops team to monitor financial and ops performance
- Monitor main operational metrics and advise relevant managers on action items
- Identify / confirm operational issues through data and come up with relevant solutions
- Analyze demand and working with S&P team to design promo or to strategize pricing
- Design driver incentive schemes if needed to boost driver performance
- Set up automated process to reduce manual repetitive work and eliminate potential human error in backend ops
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Mathematics
- Minimum 3+ years relevant work experience as data / business analyst or similar role
- Advanced Data crunching skill is very crucial hence proficiency and working experience using SQL, Python, R, and Excel (can perform complex functions) is required
- Capability to produce insights from data crunching will be imperative
- Experience in business growth/strategy in MNC Company, tech consulting Industry, or startup preferred
