Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Create structured problem statements and conceptualize potential solutions from rough client specifications and information
- Propose analytic strategies and solutions that challenge and expand the thinking of the working team
- Analyze source system data and data flows, working with structured and unstructured data. This includes the ability to be self-sufficient in the retrieval of data from multiple sources.
- Conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirement analyses and design/develop analyses techniques and reporting capabilities and to continuously monitor performance and quality control of data
- Turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions
- The Analyst will be responsible for analysing campaign performance data, larger market trends in data and data relevant to audience behaviour and channel performance
- The analyst will then use this data to assist the strategic department in formulating actionable recommendations and ensuring they are applied and optimized across channels on an ongoing basis. This applies across integrated campaigns, with a heavy focus on digital and social media.
- The data is both structured and unstructured, generated by social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube, by digital media sources such as websites and digital advertising (Social, Display, Video, Rich Media, Mobile, Search), traditional media (Broadcast, Radio, OOH) and experiential activations / events.
- By implementing effective and cutting-edge strategies the Analyst will help analyze progress towards campaign awareness and engagement goals and make recommendations to improve performance.
- Analyzing online/offline campaign performance including experience and success with digital advertising (display, paid social, video, rich media, mobile, search), web analytics (Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends etc.), social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, SnapChat, etc.) and traditional advertising (TV, radio, OOH)
- Surface Audience insights on media usage for campaigns and general properties (Web/App)
- Grow into Machine Learning with Tensorflow/AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform

Qualifications
Skills and experience
- 3 year working experience in a data analytics or data mining or analytics role
- Data Storage:
- Database management experience
- Data cleansing experience
- Data Ingestion
- API integration experience
- Database connection experience
- Data Querying/Modeling
- Analytic tools (such as SAS, SPSS, R, etc.)
- SQL, Java and Python programming languages is an advantage
- Data Visualization
- Data visualization experience and skills (PowerBI, Datorama, Tableau, DataStudio)
- Cloud Platforms
- Google Cloud platform, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services
- Advertising Platforms/Data Sources
