About the Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst with credit knowledge to join our monetisation team. You will support on data-driven strategies, particularly in credit analysis and monetisation insights. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual passionate about leveraging data to optimise revenue strategies and enhance product offerings within the credit sector.
Analysts play a key role within ClearScore, driving strategy and key decision-making, which ultimately benefits our users, partners, and other teams within the business. ClearScore has an amazing analytical community which includes Data Analysts, Scientists and Engineers. The community works collaboratively to ensure a landscape in which team members can develop their full potential and deliver maximum business impact. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in data analysis that drives commercial insights. You will assist with reporting, data preparation, and analysis of key metrics. Your insights will help influence the direction of our credit products and user experience.
RequirementsWhat you’ll do:
- Data Analysis: Deliver in-depth analytics projects, using data and experimentation to identify opportunities and to analyse and solve complex business problems
- Reporting: Assist in building and maintaining dashboards, tracking KPIs, and producing regular reports on monetisation, user behaviour, and credit performance.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with other analysts, commercial, and product teams to provide data-driven insights, and refine our credit offerings and partner engagement.
- Data Preparation: Conduct data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and relevance in datasets used for credit and monetisation analysis.
What will make you successful at ClearScore:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, or related fields. Credit or finance-focused education is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated experience with data analysis, including a basic understanding of statistical methods and metrics relevant to credit and monetisation.
- Technical Skills:
- SQL: Proficiency in SQL is required for data querying, especially within Databricks or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Data Visualisation: Basic knowledge of tools like Excel, Domo, Tableau, or similar platforms for generating reports and visualisations.
- Python: Knowledge of this is a plus
- Credit Knowledge: Understanding of credit products, user behaviour analytics, and familiarity with concepts like loan terms, default rates, and debt review cycles.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data preparation and reporting, with a structured approach to identifying discrepancies and refining data accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate data insights and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, across multiple levels.

Our Hybrid Model
We embrace a dynamic hybrid work environment that balances flexibility with collaborative in-person experiences. Our approach is designed to foster innovation, team connection, and individual productivity.
- Levels 1-5: Minimum 2 days per week in-office
- Level 6 and above: Minimum 3 days per week in-office
