Job Summary: RCM&D is currently searching for a Business Data Analyst for our SISCO division. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, training, and assisting with various business applications and data resources in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data and requirements in support of business needs, proposed projects, enhancements, and reports as requested. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of system investments for our user community. The Analyst will interface with business unit leaders, project leaders, and clients – ensuring both internal and external system and data needs are met.
A Day in the Life:
- Interpret business needs and issues by gathering, eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating the business area’s user and technical (functional/non-functional) requirements.
- Define complex or enterprise-wise business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes.
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and/or and make enhancements to existing applications to meet business needs.
- Identifies, documents, and troubleshoots problems in systems, software and processes. Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to monitor, report and resolve issues.
- Review, analyze and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs.
- Provide introduction and ad-hoc training support to end users for all data resources and systems.
What You’ll Need:
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, Accounting or Management Information Systems is preferred; high school diploma or GED, in concert with 5-10 years related work experience, in lieu of a college degree is necessary.
- Strong knowledge in SQL Reporting, SQL database design and extracts, Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps including Power Automate and Power Bi
- Proven experience in participating in the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
- Proficiency of programming languages.
