The Data Analyst Lead will provide day to day data management and analytics support in order to help the organisation make data-driven decisions that are crucial for enhancing workforce efficiency as well as cooperate with internal centralised functions such as Finance, Talent & Reward Teams.  

Job Description

 

  • Gather data from various sources, analyze, and interpret complex sets of data related to employees and other organizational resources according to reporting calendar,
  • Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends and understand relations between various HR activities and organizational outcomes
  • Use data visualization tools and storytelling to present HR data in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborate closely with other departments such as: Finance, People Operations, HR Business Partnering to ensure that the data supports broader business objectives
  • Design, develop and maintain HR reports/dashboards ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of data for management reporting and planning purposes across the IAG group   
  • Conduct audits and escalate data errors, anomalies to data users and reference data management team  
  • Constructively challenge analytics processes, methodologies and tools, introducing changes that enhance and constantly improve the quality of output with deep understanding of people data sets  
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining Workday HRIS
  • Maintain report catalogue together with the instructions and definitions knowledge base to ensure the business continuity

Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Data Science or Business administration,   
  • General knowledge of fundamental financial concepts and analysis,  
  • HR degree would be an asset,
  • Over 2 years relevant experience in a management reporting analysis role in an international company   
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools like SPSS, SAP,
  • Practical usage and application of SQL or Python,
  • Experience with Workday would be an asset, 
  • Experience with regression analysis models,
  • Project accounting experience an advantage, ideally on multi-disciplinary projects,  
  • Interest in AI tools helping data analysis,
  • Ability to operate effectively in a very fast moving, global environment with tight deadlines and limited resources,
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills to understand complex datasets and turn them into actionable insights for the company,
  • A solid grasp of statistical techniques and methodologies to identify trends and patterns within the data, providing valuable insights that can influence decision-making processes,
  • Perfect attention to detail,
  • A strong customer focus, and communication committed to exceeding customer expectations and continuous improvement, 
  • Willingness to challenge process and drive change,  
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
