The Mission
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic (business) Data Analyst to join our team for Client Services Business.
Our team provides 4 key capabilities to the Client Services Business Super Circles: i) Reporting & Data Analysis, ii) Business Analysis, iii) Change Experts, iv) Central Support (Communication and Incident Management).
We are the data cornerstone and act as enabler for operational management to bring Client Services Business to the next level. The responsibility of the data analyst is to support the business in their analytical needs through periodic management reports, descriptive analytics, generating insights and recommendations that support better decision making and derives in having a better grip on the operational performance of the organization.
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive person, who connects successfully with the business areas (super circles, tribes and other stakeholders), understands their needs & services, services provided and the data ecosystem. This results in the ability to generate accurate and meaningful data driven analysis, reports and recommendations.

You will be directly working with the Belgium data analyst team on the operational performance of the various Super Circles.
Your day to day
As a (business) Data Analyst, you will:
- Proactively connect with Super Circles and understand their reporting needs, their way of working and the data ecosystem to be able to translate that into their analytical/insight need.
- Create management operational performance reports (on the SLA performance of the key activities done within the Super Circle), create analysis to find pain points and potentially formulate improvement areas.
- Translating business needs into analytical request: discuss & challenge the needs and requirements, while thinking on the feasibility with realistic timelines and cross-checking the data availability.
- Providing insight by making connections between different information flows and analyses both structurally and on request.
- Developing reports both on quantitative & qualitative aspects
- Defining data requirements for Client Services teams.
- Creating new reports and aligning with IT, Tribes, Management and other stakeholders.
- Delivering and automating recurring operational management reports (daily, weekly, monthly’s).
- Being the key SPOC for SuperCircle for all their data-related questions.
- Improving & experimenting with data landscape (e.g. moving away from Excel to a database-oriented solution and experiment with other tools, such as PowerBI, Cognos, other..).
- Participating in alignment meetings to improve e.g. reporting tools, data management process.
- Providing in-depth analysis on our operational data to articulate findings / answers for specific questions or needs from the business.
- Creating (advanced) ad-hoc reporting for specific needs, using tools like Access, Excel, PowerBI, SQL, SAS, Cognos …
- Stimulating cross-border interaction and alignment between people, expertise teams, squads, and Service organizations both in central and local business lines.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in a reporting/data analyses environment.
- Relevant track record of working in the operations area.
- Strong experience with Excel, VBA and database-related environment (e.g. ACCESS).
- Experience with tools such as SAP, SAS, SQL, Cognos or MS Power BI are a plus; an interest in these tools is a must.
- Ability to prioritize and transform user information requirements into reports and analyses.
- You have a pro-active mindset and can do attitude to help make this new unit successful.
- Ability to extract key observations from data and bring clearly across in executive messaging / reporting.
- Ability to work with key stakeholders and with a proven track record in achieving results.
- You are a fast learner (to understand the complex Belgium operations model) and are able to deliver results quickly.
- Ability to work multidisciplinary and being part of a Belgium team and making sure the different cultures will work together as one team.
- Fluency in English.
