About the role
The Cyber Resilience Manager plays a critical role in strengthening Corebridge Financial’s cyber resilience posture by designing, coordinating, and executing enterprise and cyber exercises across the enterprise. This role supports both strategic planning and operational readiness by simulating real-world cyber incidents and enterprise crises to test the organization’s preparedness, response capabilities, and decision-making under pressure.
The manager will collaborate closely with the Information Security Office (ISO), Enterprise Risk Management, Incident Response, Third-Party Risk, and business unit leaders to develop, deliver, and mature cyber and enterprise exercises that align with enterprise objectives and regulatory expectations.

- Design, plan, and lead enterprise-wide cyber and all-hazards exercises and simulations (e.g., tabletop, functional, and full-scale).
- Coordinate across internal and external teams to develop realistic enterprise and cyber-attack scenarios that reflect evolving threats.
- Collaborate with IT, risk, legal, and communications teams to ensure comprehensive participation and engagement.
- Assess Enterprise and cyber incident response readiness and identify procedural or communication gaps.
- Track and communicate outcomes, lessons learned, and follow-up actions from cyber exercises.
- Support development of playbooks and standard operating procedures informed by exercise outcomes.
- Conduct after-action reviews and generate reports that summarize findings, metrics, and recommendations.
- Provide thought leadership on cyber resilience, emerging threats, and best practices in crisis simulation.
- Partner with compliance and audit teams to align exercises with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Continuously improve the enterprise response capability through exercise iteration, training, and testing.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years in cybersecurity, IT risk management, or cyber resilience roles with experience in leading cyber exercises.
- Deep understanding of cyber incident response frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Resilience frameworks like Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Plans and Business Impact Analysis
- Strong project management and communication skills; experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Experience briefing senior leadership and generating actionable post-exercise insights.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., NYDFS, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
For positions based in Jersey City, NJ the base salary range is $135,000 to $155,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. In addition, we're proud to offer a range of competitive benefits.
