The Cyber Engineering Lead will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our cybersecurity tools, products and cyber engineering related to security infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and a proven track record in leading an engineering team.
Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:

Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Collaborate with IT leadership to align security initiatives with organizational goals.

Develop key configurations and integration of security systems in a robust cloud/hybrid environment

Protect of all end user computing assets utilizing defined EDR technologies, including configuration, optimization and tuning of products that protect assets

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of security products. Provide recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights and analysis.

Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure team remains current with the latest security trends and technologies.
Technical Knowledge and Understanding:

Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field

Master’s degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years’ experience in a leadership role.

Proven experience managing NOC and SOC operations.
-
Experience with incident response, threat intelligence, and risk management.

Experience with cloud security and modern cybersecurity tools and technologies.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including the CISO, SOC and partner engineering teams.
Seeking candidates that can work a hybrid schedule from Cincinnati, OH or Dallas, TX.
