Position Title: Cyber Analyst, Junior
Location: Washington, D.C. (currently hybrid)
Hours: 9am – 5pm
Work Schedule: “4x10” schedules available
Position Summary
Cybervance is a rapidly growing information security and information technology company in Washington, D.C. We are looking to hire a Cyber Analyst to be placed on a long-term contract in Washington, D.C. This position is a full-time/permanent position supporting a U.S. Government civilian agency. The position is available immediately upon finding a qualified candidate with the appropriate background clearance.
Job Requirements

- · Respond to cyber incidents and ensure continuous improvement through data analytics.
- · Report on all incident activity clearly and accurately.
- · Perform research and analysis of data and information associated with cyber threat activity.
- · Ability to work both individually and in a collaborative team.
- · Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral in English).
- · 4 years of relevant work experience.
- · US citizen qualified for Public Trust.
Position Responsibilities
Acts as a subject matter expert with expertise in specialized fields such as compliance regulations and cybersecurity. Provides technical insights and analysis for applications and operational environments, offering high-level incident response handling and documentation involving complex subject matter knowledge. Engages in all phases of incident response as needed, with a focus on following established procedures and escalation when applicable. Apply principles, methodologies, and domain-specific expertise to meet task order requirements, in a collaborative cross-trained team setting.
