We are currently seeking a Customer Support Technical Analyst to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing software application support for customer inquiries and issues, assessing the nature of customer problems, and tracking and reporting on the resolution of these issues. This role involves delivering second-line software application support, specializing in a specific line of Euronet products. The Customer Support Technical Analyst will operate under general supervision and must possess in-depth knowledge of transaction processing and Euronet products. It is expected that the individual in this role will have the ability to work weekend rotations and second-shift assignments as necessary. Additionally, the role may require handling after-hours calls and support needs remotely, including being part of a beeper rotation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive software application support to customers.
- Performing programming tasks as necessary to produce defined outputs in accordance with specifications.
- Delivering training sessions to Euronet employees or customers to ensure effective use of Euronet products.
- Collecting and analyzing customer information to identify the root causes of problems and facilitate solutions.
- Setting parameters, verifying system flow, and resolving issues to configure systems per specifications.
- Conducting program or system testing with data that simulates actual operational conditions to validate results.
- Serving as the escalation point for complex customer issues.
- Providing administrative support to management by preparing correspondence and gathering requested information.
- Collaborating with other employees or customers to achieve specific objectives and results.
Qualifications and requirements include:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or 3 years of comparable experience in a banking, programming, or technical service-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated programming, analytical, organizational, effective communication, administrative, problem resolution, training, leadership, and project management skills.
- Preferably 2 years of experience working with the AS/400 or iSeries platform and OS/400 operating system. Candidates should be proficient in managing out queues, generating reports, manipulating data, and troubleshooting operational tasks.
- At least 2 years of experience in computer programming with knowledge of CL, RPG, RPGLE, or Java/SQL. This includes the ability to code new programs, modify existing programs, and analyze code to identify problems.
- A background of at least 2 years in banking, specifically in card services and ATM processes, with a comprehensive understanding of 'daily cycle' transactions.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management.
- Exceptional communication, listening, and customer service skills.
- The capability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with card processing, including debit and credit card transactions, and electronic financial transactions.
- Administrative proficiency.
- Knowledge of ITM and Euronet software products.
- Proficiency in using a PC with a Windows operating system for effective communication and functionality with Euronet’s core software products.
