JOB DESCRIPTION

The Wealth Management Operations Associate assist clients and financial advisors with various aspects of Securities-Based Lending, and ongoing servicing for Supernova Lending products.  They focus on helping grow the business with independent financial advisors, independent broker dealers and large financial enterprises that adopt our solutions.  Responsibilities will involve servicing clients and advisors with loans, handling incoming requests, and performing other day-to-day loan operations duties.  Our end-to-end loan processing starts from setup, to application decisioning, to the ongoing servicing for our lending products. Our loan platform is technology focused and the service team plays a key role in product development and ongoing enhancement.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support inbound questions and inquiries about our product offerings and their requirements 
  • Support the onboarding of new advisors and clients on our platform 
  • Assist applicants in completing the loan application process; ensure the completeness and accuracy of each application  
  • Guide and monitor loans through the loan review process to ensure both completeness and timely execution  
  • Ongoing servicing of loans after origination which include answering phone/email requests, completing client requests, including processing payments and loan draws, and general loan maintenance
  • Understand our credit policy and borrowing requirements to educate advisor and client inquiries  
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity and customer confidence by keeping loan and customer information confidential 
  • Performing other administrative duties such as preparing reports, client communications or any other task required for the company to accomplish its mission of lowering borrowing costs for all individuals  
  • Knowledge and utilization of money movement processes, interest rates, lending requirements and internal processes for the company’s existing loan products and new offerings
  • Additional growth opportunities include credit and underwriting, relationship management and even intra-company transfer

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or other fields of study related to finance, banking, lending, and wealth management OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 2-3 years of experience working in banking or wealth management preferred 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Excel 
  • Experience working with financial advisors and their clients 
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize competing requests
  • Understanding of financial investment products 
  • Effective verbal and written communication 
  • Punctual and hard working
