WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Customer Success Engineer who has the passion and tenacity to face unknown challenges, and the sense of responsibility to identify, make decisions, and solve problems on his/her own. The person who takes on this position must also have the courage to take on the world's unparalleled challenges of Toyota Woven City, to collaboratively create things that do not yet exist, and to occasionally open up new possibilities on his or her own. The successful candidate will also need to be a strong communicator who can interact tenaciously with many internal and external stakeholders, and be flexible enough to adapt smoothly to changes in the environment and directions. This position may change the work location from Tokyo to Susono. At the very least, the position requires frequent travel to the area as a business trip. Reporting to the Department Manager, this position is a hybrid work arrangement.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As specialists in the Mobility of Information Platform, you introduce our vision and technology to Inventor, provide consulting and support so that they can implement it, and bring success to Inventor's business.
  • As a concrete example of the above, when Inventor plans a product, you make proposals and designs, including from a technical perspective, and resolve problems. We also propose and design demonstrations for commercialization or research and development.
  • You are expected to listen carefully to Inventor's goals, strategies, and what they want to do, find insights, and provide feedback that leads to improvements to the Platform, additional development, and new business.
  • After fully understanding Inventor's goals, strategies, and what they want to do, you adjust the project so that it can proceed in a win-win relationship with customers.
  • You manage the project on a daily basis, including outside activities to achieve the goal.
  • You review the process and incorporate feedback to promote continuous improvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years of experience working as a consultant or solution architect proposing technical solutions based on actual customer issues.
  • Experience in identifying solution product fit and issues based on customer requirements and working with development teams to iteratively improve products.
  • Experience in proposing and launching software products to specific customers multiple times and accompanying customers for subsequent business growth.
  • Experience defining requirements for multiple systems and services
  • Experience in designing and analyzing multiple user research studies, implementing improvements derived from the studies, and making recommendations to management
  • Conversational level English and Business Level Japanese language skills
