Customer Specifications Specialist, APAC

Our mission is to ensure Customer specifications are our promise to customers and are a critical standard that our customers use to evaluate the quality of our products.
The Customer Specifications Specialist, APAC will be part of a team that coordinates these documents globally.
Core Responsibilities:
- Regional Responsibility – Lead and coordinate the Asia Pacific (APAC) customer specification review process by working with appropriate participants from each plant and country to provide timely specification reviews to our customers in alignment with customer segmentation policy
- Customer Focus – In partnership with APAC colleagues, ensure timely responses to customer related inquiries
- Document Review – Review customer quality agreements with the appropriate plant and edit agreements to meet Ingredion quality requirements
- Cross Functional Collaboration – Meet with customers, plant quality and sales to complete agreements and specification reviews for APAC
- Global Team Effectiveness – Submit regional reviews for global customer review
- Document Maintenance – Ensure completed customer specifications and quality agreements are organized and saved in a shared location for easy retrieval by plant quality and global document teams
Qualified candidates will have:
Mandatory requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operational, technical, or business role. Plant quality or Customer quality documentation experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to work with cross functional teams
- Ability to work and interact with all levels of the APAC Quality Organization
- Ability to cultivate positive relationships with and between customers, team members, plants, support functions and functional groups.
- Strong planning, organizing, time management skills, attention to detail, and work independently.
- English fluency, both written and spoken
Desirable requirements:
- Computer experience. Salesforce and SharePoint experience is advantageous
- Ability to learn quickly, embrace change, multi-task, prioritize in high volume, fast-paced environment
