This is a hybrid position and requires in office work Monday - Wednesday.

This position is responsible for supporting the Customer Insights team in gathering, interpreting and presenting customer insights across the business. Responsible for developing and programming customer surveys and other studies, using basic analytic principles to interpret results and combining results across multiple platforms to develop timely and actionable insights for business customers. Combines a passion for customers with an analytic approach to examining problems and identifying areas of opportunity.

What You'll be Doing:

Collaborates with the CI team and business partners to understand business questions where customer insights will add value.

Correlates multiple sources of qualitative, transactional, and quantitative feedback data to draw out insights and drivers of business performance.

Builds intuitive reports, dashboards, and presentations that help transform customer research into easy to understand and actionable insights.

With support of the CI team, applies research design practices to gather valuable customer feedback.

As needed, assists in qualitative customer research, including online focus group moderation, customer interviews and intercepts, verbatim coding, and in-store observation.

Continuously learns and applies new tools and technologies to interpret customer feedback.

Effectively communicates with internal insights team as well as external partners in merchandising, marketing, operations and other functional areas across the business.

Works with external partners and assists with invoices, incentives, and other day-to-day project management for ongoing research efforts.

Maintains asset libraries (templates, messages, surveys, and reports.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s Degree or enrolled in a four-year degree program with an expected graduation date.

Business, marketing, psychology, social sciences major or a related field with a strong analytical foundation preferred.

At least 1 year of previous merchandising and/or retail experience is a plus.

Experience with basic market research practices such as survey design and interpretation, interviews, focus groups, competitive analysis.

Ability to gather and interpret data for various reports, as appropriate.

Experience working in Excel, PowerBI, SPSS, or similar analytical software.

Familiarity with advanced market research analysis techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, segmentation, conjoint analysis) is a plus.

Knowledge of the retail industry – ability to translate customer feedback into actionable insights.

Actively curious about what drives an exceptional customer experience.

Results focused; uses performance targets and goals to drive own activities as well as help team succeed.
