You ensure that customer plans are developed and executed by supporting the delivery of strategies and tactics for growth. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with key account managers to implement plans to deliver our annual target.
How you will contribute
You will:

  • Leads the development of the trade marketing part of the category annual plans (contract process)
  • Understands market dynamics / consumer insights by channel to participate on trade marketing strategic decisions
  • Leads the business planning meeting where the sales quotas are built in order to accomplish the annual plans based on relevant building blocks
  • Suggests and influences investment in category building blocks, according to category and channel need, and is accountable of execution excellence at point of sale
  • Follows up the competition's commercial activity in the category in order to detect business opportunities and potential threats for the brand
  • Plays a leadership role within the multi categories teams by leading, providing accurate and relevant channel point of sale information that will lead to find business opportunities such as innovations, customer promotions, portfolio, pricing, etc. that will lead to achieve multi categories targets

More about this role
The position acts as link between Category planning and sales, it's key partner for Key Account Manager (KAM) with responsibility of whole channel . It's purpose is to be sales copilot to co-create right activation program for each customer/channel with smooth execution. Customer Activation Executive should combine AC plan with bottom-up approach for each customer and help KAM with evaluations, Revenue growth management agenda, POS (point of sales) and other activities.
Main responsibilities:

  • Co-operation on strategies for Trade channels/customers to deliver the annual plan (AC)
  • Deep dive and 121 with KAM agenda lead
  • Seeking and identification of channel/customer business drivers to design category revenue/volume programmes
  • Evaluate executed activities and propose more efficient future tactics
  • Acting as a "bridge" between Category and KAMs
  • Presenting of results of various findings resulting in opportunities in the forecast
  • Active communication of gaps and securing the improvement of the customer forecasts (resulting in higher accuracy and revenue)
  • Co-operation on improvements of in-store execution (activation, listing, TMPs, exclusivities)
  • Data and negotiation support (customer reviews, activities evaluation, leaflet monitoring)
  • Coordinating field activations, and providing TM support


Requirements:

  • Sales or trade marketing experience (min 2 years)
  • Good analytical and presentation skills
  • Advanced PC knowledge is a must (MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Native Hungarian and fluent English language knowledge
