Curtainwall Manager - Technical Glass Products
The Curtainwall Manager reports to the North America Sales Director and performs a variety of duties associated with management of the SteelBuilt product line. This includes, but is not limited to consulting with architects during the design phase, preparing quotations and qualifications for quotes, and providing technical assistance to TGP’s sales team.
What You Will Do:

Review and work with the TGP sales team to manage SteelBuilt sales opportunities.

Have a strong understanding of Curtainwall systems. This includes understanding performance and design requirements and installation methods and procedures.

Assist with sorting and managing SteelBuilt quotes and opportunities in CRM and engage in follow-up with the TM’s assistance. This is accomplished by keeping odds, closing dates and contacts current under the opportunities, as well as attaching quotes to the opportunities.

Provide assistance in TGP SteelBuilt presentations to architects, glass contactors and other audiences.

Prepare, process, review and monitor various documents, such as price quotes, job orders, etc.

Strong awareness of “good” customers vs. “not good” customers.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent and a Bachelor’s is preferred

5+ years of sales or customer service experience required.

Knowledge of the products and technology associated with glass, fire-rated glazing, vertical and horizontal framing systems, and channel glass.

Ability to coordinate work with sales, engineering, order, and production team members for the efficient and accurate generation of quotes, placement of orders, and delivery of ordered products.

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously for self and other team members.

Ability to solve a variety of sales and customer service-related problems, develop methods to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes and assist others in solving work problems and improving work processes.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Skill in using computer application software used in generating quotes, bids, proposals, and orders.

Understanding of CAD and Revit.

Skill in making professional presentations to large groups and one-on-one.

Strong team orientation, attention to detail, flexibility, and initiative.
