Job Description
The Client Solutions - Credit Assessment Team Manager team plays a pivotal role within Lendi’s Customer and Sales function, which comprises the Submission, Assessment and Settlement groups. We are looking for someone with industry experience to join our expanding leadership team. Lendi has been overwhelmed with customer demand this year and we are always looking for great leaders to join the team and help us keep up with our customers.
Reporting to the Head of Client Solutions, you will be assisting the CS teams who provide loan processing, compliance and 'back of house' support to our rapidly-growing national teams of Brokers and CS, this fast-paced and varied role will see you accountable for (but not limited to):
- Management of Pre and Post Submission Loan Applications and Client Expectations
- Work closely with Client Solutions senior management to provide strategic and performance support, in line with OKRs of the business
- Managing of CS teams who are liaising with customers, lenders and the relevant teams in the customer function to ensure that loan applications are submitted, approved and settled timely
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Coach and mentor to drive performance
Qualifications
- Experience relevant to the role is preferred with a strong understanding and previous exposure to the Australian mortgage market
- At least 5 to 10 years of Australian Mortgage experience with extensive experience in a customer facing role
- At least has 2 years of previous management and leadership experience
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Must have extension lending/broker/finance support experience, preferably in credit assessment with exposure to entire application processes from submission to settlement
- Business/Commerce/Finance degree or diploma preferred but not essential
- Self-motivated with a desire to exceed expectations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, delegate and prioritise as appropriate, based on the situation
- A high degree of competency in computer and web applications
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; including a strong and fluent command of English
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
- Exemplary stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to think and act swiftly and proactively.
