Crypto Product Management Specialist

An exciting opportunity as come up to join the Crypto ETP Management team as Crypto Product Specialist .

The successful candidate will leverage their experience to managing approximately $1.5bn in assets under management in over 9 Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) and different cryptocurrencies and structures (including physical, staking functionalities and so on).

Beyond ensuring the products are performing as intended, the Crypto ETP Management team at WisdomTree plays a huge role in designing new and innovative products, new product launches, and in driving efficiencies in the product complex through streamlining business processes, automation and effective service provider management. 

Key Accountabilities and Scope

• Day to day management and/or close oversight of the daily Crypto Product operations of WisdomTree’s European crypto product set. This includes overseeing Creation/Redemption, rebalancing reconciliation, liquidity, whitelisting, AP onboarding, crypto security, tracking error, pricing, settlement, and ensuring that accurate information is being disseminated to the market.
• Portfolio management by ensuring WisdomTree track correctly the benchmarks and have the tools to do so efficiently and with minimum risk, expanding WisdomTree trading relationships.
• Improving and developing WisdomTree crypto ETPs infrastructure by expanding WisdomTree staking, defining operational process, required tech build, settlement efficiency, rebalancing reconciliation and so on.
• Lead project management & business analysis for various projects including new product launches, product enhancements, and other Crypto operational initiatives
• Monitoring WisdomTree position versus competitor and ensure WisdomTree range has the most compelling value proposition at all times.
• Assisting with product design and structuring, setting up new Crypto operational frameworks and business processes internally and with external counterparties
• Managing relationships with key partners (administrators, custodians etc.) and liaising with others (exchanges, index providers etc.) as relevant throughout products’ life cycle and as issues come up.
• Driving efficiencies in the crypto product complex through evaluation of existing business processes, best practices, automation and/or vendor management
• Monitoring Crypto operational risk and counterparty risk across the platform, devising and executing plans to reduce risk
• Be an escalation point for issues – troubleshooting issues as wide as portfolio management, issues at any point of the creations/redemptions process, ETP prices or NAVs, information disseminated to the market (e.g., PCFs, index files), drawing on knowledge, experience and excellent judgement
• Build relationships across internal (operation, product development, research, finance, legal and compliance) and external counterparties (administrators, transfer agents, custodians, designated brokers and approved participants, exchanges, external auditors and data providers) 

Skills and Qualifications

•  Degree level education, ideally in quantitative subject – mathematics, finance, physics, computer science, engineering etc.
• Crypto operations and/or trading in an asset management / corporate environment experience is essential
• 3+ years’ experience in relevant roles in financial / crypto operations, fund accounting, portfolio management, trade support or product structuring
• Demonstrated ability to understand highly complex products and apply quantitative techniques as part of oversight, including basic financial math (returns / standard deviations, compounding etc.)
• Superior proficiency in Excel is a must, with an ability to analyse large financial data sets in Excel using pivot tables, array functions (index, match, vlookup etc.) etc.
• ETF experience – highly desirable
• Experience with crypto operations – highly desirable
