TBC Bank Group PLC established Space International with the strategic aim of facilitating the group's global expansion efforts. In 2018, the team successfully introduced the pioneering neobank, Space, in Georgia. Building upon this success, subsequent efforts were directed towards the creation and launch of the fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, TBC UZ, in 2020. In a significant move towards enhancing its foothold in the Uzbek market, the group acquired Payme, a prominent local payments provider and esteemed brand among the Uzbek populace, in 2023.

Presently, a dedicated team of 1,700 professionals representing 17 nationalities collaborates to advance TBC's international presence. Space International spearheads the provision of cutting-edge technologies and top-tier professional services, while the local teams at Payme and TBC Uzbekistan drive sustained growth and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyzing incoming flows and the credit portfolio;
• Identifying patterns and changes in customer profiles;
• Preparing proposals for improving the decision-making system;
• Researching and validating hypotheses related to credit portfolio/client segment behavior;
• Collaborating closely with credit risk portfolio managers to enhance current retail credit products (Cash Loan, POS, Credit Card) from a credit risk perspective by interpreting and analyzing data using statistical and visualization methods, and providing business recommendations;
• Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and credit analyses of credit applications, ensuring compliance with risk standards and guidelines;
• Processing and analyzing large, complex data sets from various sources: credit history reports, tax reports, card transaction reports, mobile payments, etc.;
• Continuously searching for and analyzing alternative data sources to optimize scoring models and decision-making;
• Collaborating with other stakeholders to convey data-driven insights: DS divisions, collection, and business units;
• Negotiating with service providers, assessing high-level data that could be beneficial for the bank, and fully supporting the project in terms of price agreements, signing necessary NDAs/contracts, data analysis, testing, and implementing data exchange.

What We Expect from the Candidate:

• Higher education;
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, Excel;
• Proficiency in Russian and English;
• Mandatory experience in banks, microfinance organizations in areas such as Credit Risk, Data Science, and reporting divisions;
• A good understanding of the risk management department's functions, particularly in credit risk;
• The ability to make the most effective use of working time;
• Clearly articulating thoughts and observations when preparing analytical materials and notes.
