The Credit Risk Management Corporate Bank & Investment Bank unit (within Chief Risk Officer department) is seeking a Credit Analyst, who will be responsible for Credit analysis and monitoring of a portfolio of Italian MidCaps Corporates and supporting local approval process of Large Corporates and FIs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform good quality credit analysis, analysis of financial and economic performance, identification of risk drivers and evaluation of downcase scenarios.
  • Monitor and report of credit exposures, identify early warning signals.
  • Support senior credit officers in managing credit request analyzing risk/reward profile of the transaction proposed and in providing efficient, correct and accurate and timely response to business request.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for Senior Management Committees, for Internal Audits/ Regulators.

Skills

  • Degree in business/finance (or a similar field of study).
  • Knowledge of credit products, credit documentation and credit approval process.
  • Attitude to credit related regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of potential risks (reputational, compliance, legal issues) related to credit approval process.
  • Self-motivated, structured approach and a strong attention to details paired with synthesis ability.
  • Proven ability to multi-task different projects and prioritize.
  • Ability to build cross-divisional as well as cross-regional relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and Italian).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including  strong Excel skills.
