Job Profile Summary:

The Associate, Credit Products will support the Credit Products team in delivering efficient credit underwriting processes, optimizing operational workflows, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and principles of sound risk management. This role focuses on providing analytical support, managing projects, and improving processes to enhance the Frontline’s ability to fulfill client requests efficiently. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with project management methodologies, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in due diligence and preparation of business cases for new credit products and/or modifications of existing credit products.

  • Review RCSA's completed by front-line and facilitate conversation with operations risk management.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of existing processes and workflows, and consult with members of Frontline, Credit Administration, Operations, and Technology to evaluate feasibility of such changes and potential downstream impacts.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing underwriting efficiency and operational excellence.

  • Assist in development of key performance indicators and dashboards to monitor effectiveness of process enhancements.

  • Develop project plans, track milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

  • Work closely with team members across frontline, risk management, technology and operations to ensure timely completion of projects and achievement of project objectives.

  • Manage communication between stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on priorities.

  • Other ad-hoc duties as required based on business needs.

Work experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in banking, credit analysis, consulting or a related field.

  • Project management skills, with the ability to organize and track tasks effectively.

  • Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus but not required.

  • Basic understanding of credit products, including bilateral and syndicated loans, is a plus.

Competencies: 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and support team objectives.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
