Job Description and Requirements
The Credit Dispute Analyst is responsible for handling all incoming requests from members regarding their credit reports, and handling and maintenance Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) requests.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Through the use of internal and external systems, investigate and accurately respond to credit disputes in a manner that complies with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Respond to customer validation requests.

Ensure accurate reporting to credit reporting agencies in accordance with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requirements and Metro II guidelines.

Process and manage Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) request for those who are eligible.

All other duties as assigned (note: essential functions and responsibilities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice).
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
-
Minimum of 1 year experience with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and credit reporting

Knowledge of Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requirements and Metro II guidelines

Knowledge of Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA)

Ability to review and comprehend credit reports from all major credit reporting agencies
-
Ability to proficiently navigate and utilize Microsoft Office
-
Ability to multitask and prioritize goals to meet business objectives

Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Systemic thinker and keen ability for process improvement

Must be extremely detail oriented, deadline driven, and have a passion for investigating and problem solving
Preferred:
-
Experience with Metro 2 and E-Oscar
