Job Description
- Detailed analysis of financial statements to assess risk
- Evaluate client credit exposure and the risk associated
- Maintain tracking log for credit submissions, collateral and legal documents
- Coordinate with Credit and Underwriting to ensure required legal agreements received and reflect approved credit terms.
- Ensure compliance and reconciliation of required collateral.
- Assist in analysis of portfolio and industry trends
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Credit Policy Guidelines
- Work on special projects as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or other related field, or relevant work experience
- 2 to 4 years of proven Insurance related credit experience with emphasis on policies and procedures
- Analytical and organizational skills preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000 - $90,000.
