We’re looking for someone to join our Global Brand & Creative Solutions team and help our Tech/Telco advertisers create world-class creative on Pinterest. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of US Emerging Creative Strategy, the Creative Strategist will be responsible for providing horizontal creative and brand strategy support within our US Emerging sector. The role provides the unique opportunity for individuals with robust creative strategy backgrounds to break into the tech industry and transform into a multidisciplinary creative and strategic professional. You’ll be a top-notch creative and strategic thinker eager to learn new skill sets and help brands create great advertising experiences for Pinners. 


What you'll do:

  • Inspire partners by concepting and presenting ideas for what their brand could do on Pinterest and work with them and the Pinterest partnerships team to execute on those ideas
  • Partner with the Tech/Telco sales teams to uncover industry-level challenges and account-specific opportunities to develop creative-driven solutions 
  • Work autonomously with cross functional teams like Sales, Measurement, Marketing and Insights to drive creative effectiveness for individual advertisers and within broad go-to-market programs
  • Provide consultative reviews and enhancements of existing campaigns
  • Collaborate with senior creative strategists and sales teams to develop world-class campaigns on Pinterest
  • Design and pitch innovative creative strategies that inspire and engage
  • Create and distribute creative content and resources that empower over 150+ internal sales partners
  • Adapt to varying styles and depths of work across a large and diverse sector of brands


What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience with agency, platform or brand or transferable skills 
  • Candidates with a breadth and diversity of experiences, educational backgrounds, and perspectives
  • Someone who can engage a room of senior-level brand and agency representatives and inspire action
  • Experience communicating ideas verbally and through presentations in a clear, concise, and compelling way to multiple and diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Someone who confidently clears their own roadblocks to drive a project to completion
  • A passion for, and experience influencing, visually-led, business-driving creative work
  • An entrepreneurial mindset that’s equally strong in ideation and execution
  • Background in art direction or design to develop compelling creative mockups for prospective campaign ideas and events; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva 
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent


In-Office Requirement Statement

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 3-4 times per month and as needed, and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices: New York, New York.
