Gallery Media Group is looking for a Creative Strategist to help guide the social content we ideate and create for our clients. 

As Digiday’s Most Innovative Publisher of 2024 and part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company, GMG offers uniquely exciting experience in digital media and social-first content. 

Working as part of the Organic Social team, this role will be a new creative layer within our content production process, responsible for refining and elevating the output that comes from our strategists and creators. 

We are looking for someone who loves to push creative boundaries with original content creation, has a passion for social storytelling, and brings with them a ton of unique ideas about how to bring brands to life on social. 

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing and creating engaging content that helps drive growth metrics on Instagram and TikTok.

Experience:

  • 2+ years working in a creative role for an agency, digital publisher, and/or brand
  • A strong understanding of what drives performance on TikTok and Instagram 
  • Proven experience creating high-performing short form video content for brands 
  • Adept at ideating and communicating creative concepts in-line with a client brief

Responsibilities:

  • Providing feedback, edits and approvals for content ideas and drafts
  • Ensuring output successfully balances brand priorities, performance best practices and high creative standards 
  • Ideating daily content + series ideas for short form video, carousels and graphic posts 
  • Bringing teams together for regular collaborative brainstorming 
  • Upskilling and onboarding content creators, communicating creative best practices
  • Upholding creative standards across brands in-line with client guidelines and direction
  • Content creation as needed

Location: New York (hybrid)
