About the Role 

The Creative Strategist at Warrior Willpower will drive the creative vision and execution of high-performing ad campaigns, with a primary focus on video content for Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).

This role is pivotal in crafting compelling, conversion-focused creatives that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand identity. You will work closely with designers, video editors, and UGC creators to develop and optimize ad concepts that drive engagement, clicks, and sales.

Your responsibilities will include conceptualizing and producing ad creatives tailored for various Meta formats, analyzing campaign performance to inform future creative strategies, staying ahead of platform trends, and ensuring that all assets are visually cohesive and aligned with Warrior Willpower’s mission of empowering athletes through recovery solutions.

General responsibilities:

Creative Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop detailed briefs for content creators, including specifications for B-roll footage.
  • Design variations of Meta Ads tailored for weekly A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Prepare and ensure the quality of video ad variations aligned with brand goals.
  • Research content creators whose style and audience align with campaign objectives.
  • Communicate project scopes with potential content creators and oversee collaboration.
  • Provide feedback and ensure the quality of content delivered by creators.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in Meta Ads and Reels to keep strategies fresh and effective.
  • Crafting narratives that align with the brand’s identity and resonate with the target audience.

Media Buying and Optimization:

  • Plan, manage, and optimize Meta Ads campaigns to achieve KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, and CTR.
  • Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to maximize results.
  • Collaborate with team members to align creative and media-buying strategies.

Position specifications:

The Creative Strategist position includes committing to the following:

  • Full-time commitment with 140–160 tracked hours per month.
  • Flexible remote work, aligned with general office hours.
  • Fixed monthly salary, paid in USD.
  • Contractor status after signing a non-disclosure agreement.
  • Commitment to a notice period after the first month.
Requirements
Key traits for this position:

The Creative Strategist should possess a creative flair and a strong understanding of Meta Ads trends and audience behavior, with the ability to craft high-converting ad strategies tailored to different customer avatars and niches.

Great communication skills are essential, as you’ll collaborate with content creators and the creative team. The right candidate will also demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Key requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience creating Meta Ads, with at least 1 year as a Media Buyer.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in creating Meta Ads for DTC brands.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling ad creatives that address customer pain points.
  • Familiarity with tools like Meta Ads Manager, Shopify, Slack, Trello, and Google Workspace.
  • Experience sourcing, managing, and negotiating with content creators.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and audience insights.
  • Strong communication skills for effectively presenting test results and recommendations to the team.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Being able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Being able to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • An excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions
  • Familiarity with working autonomously and managing your own time independently and effectively
  • Must have a stable internet connection and a laptop or PC
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (You must be fluent in English, although English doesn't have to be your native language)
  • Being open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism and improving on it
  • Must be able to consistently work full-time
