ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton is seeking an experienced Creative Editor and Photographer with media asset management abilities to create short and long-form videos and creative assets across our content production, including our digital media accounts. This role provides the opportunity to create compelling content for our Members. You will play a pivotal role in capturing and editing visual content for specialty studio classes, remotes and scenic content, wellness content, and promotional material. You should have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for visuals, and a drive to create engaging content.
The role will be based in our New York City studio office and will be required to report to the office at least 4-5 days per week, with the understanding that team members may occasionally be required to work additional days in the office (including weekends or holidays) or be present at a physical Peloton or other location, in NYC or otherwise, based on team or business needs.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Edit long and short-form content for multiple different platforms in a fast-paced/live streaming environment that is reactive to sports, fitness, lifestyle, and culture.
- Ability to be lead or supportive camera operator on a variety of productions; capture high-quality footage ensuring exceptional composition.
- Work closely with Production Operations, Producing, and Partnerships teams to ensure that the vision of each project is captured and conveyed.
- Work with the Creative Director and Producers to determine aesthetic for shoots.
- Ability to lead or support Sound teams, outside Post Facilities, and Studio Production Technology teams.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance the overall quality and storytelling of content.
- Ability to multitask, choreograph, prioritize & manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, on high stake projects that may include tight deadlines and last minute requests.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in video production, cinematography, and editing techniques.
- Self-starter with the ability to direct and QC own work, as well as prioritize output.
- Independent editorial judgment and ability to develop short form video deliverables that are in line with Peloton brand standards.
- Experience developing and supporting post production workflow.
- Make selects for images or thumbnails from the broadcast, edit photos in various formats for syndication, mobile and digital platforms.
- Make complex fixes or adjustments to content that needs to be prepared for on demand in coordination with the Media Operations team.
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 6+ years of experience in video editing and familiarity with various cameras, lenses and video formats.
- Excellent digital media file management.
- Required knowledge base: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, audio recording & mixing, camera and audio equipment, HD & 4k workflows. Intimate knowledge of codecs and best practices when exporting for Streaming Platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop required.
- Highly skilled in color grading.
- Experience in a fast-paced, tight deadline, production team work environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Willing to think against the grain and find disruptive solutions to emerging challenges.
- Willingness to be an individual contributor while working within a team environment to contribute to the overall brand's growth and success.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends with short notice.
- Ability to adapt as new elements of the role arise.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$139,905—$188,871 USD
