About the Role

We’re looking for a talented, hands-on Creative Lead to join Careem’s in-house agency - The Creative Studio.

 

You’ll work on Brand projects from creative and visual perspectives as part of your job. Also you will be responding to marketing briefs from all Careem vertical services, come up with creative ideas, work on small and large-scale projects, and more importantly be the brand guardian, shaping the Careem brand identity. 
What You'll Do
  • Support the marketing team, product management, communications, and other HQ colleagues in creating and managing partnerships that align with our goals and those of our partners.
  • Assist in gathering data and conducting basic customer segmentation analysis to help develop content for customer journeys.
  • Help execute creative and cost-effective marketing activities aimed at acquiring new customers, cross-selling services to existing customers, and increasing customer engagement.
  • Provide insights on Saudi cultural trends, online and offline media landscapes, and suggest ways Careem can engage authentically in the local context.
  • Review and suggest adaptations to centrally created content to better fit the Saudi market.
  • Support in forecasting, measuring, and reporting results of various projects with countrywide partners, including promotions, lead sharing, and event partnerships.
  • Stay updated on new marketing technologies and tools, and assist in promoting their use within the team.
  • Assist in coordinating strategic events, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for onsite collateral.

What you'll need

Additional qualifications include:

  • Strong English and Arabic speaking and writing skills. Must speak Arabic fluently and experience in Saudi Arabia is a prerequisite.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using a variety of measurement techniques to assess the impact and efficacy of marketing campaigns.
  • Strong strategic marketing planning experience.
  • Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment, manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional creativity with strong attention to details, aesthetics.
  • Strong account management and relationship builder, an adept communicator with the ability to liaise with people on all levels.
  • Experience working within the technology industry/start-up environment is highly desirable.
