Job Purpose:

The Content and Creative Manager/Lead will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and optimization of all content and creatives on e-commerce channels. This role is key to establish content and creative as a core driver for channel growth.

This role requires a blend of creative expertise and data-driven decision-making to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maximizes customer engagement, conversion, and sales growth on all eCommerce platforms – Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Swiggy, Zepto, Big Basket etc.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop creative & content strategy in line with brand strategy with customisation for the relevant platform.

  • Content Development for PDP:
    • Understand the shopper journey on each of the platforms to create and optimize content for product listings, including titles, descriptions, bullet points, images, and videos.
    • Analyse the content strategies of category and competition, their claims, and the proposition they emphasize to identify potential opportunities and gaps in our brands’ messaging.
    • Ensure all product information is accurate, SEO-friendly, and in line with the brand's tone of voice.
    • Regularly analyse performance metrics to optimize PDP content for better rankings and conversion rates on eCommerce platforms.
       
  • Search and Display Assets
    • Develop and optimize creative assets for search and display campaigns across platforms.
    • Create and implement a creative calendar that aligns with topical/seasonal focus, brand objectives and tailored for each platform.
    • Continuous A/B testing on all creatives for CTR optimization.
       
  • Project Management
    • Oversee timelines and deliverables for all content and creative projects to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Manage the external creative agency to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content, maintaining brand integrity across all digital platforms.
       
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with the brand teams to understand product features, benefits, and innovations, translating them into compelling messaging and content that resonates with target audiences.
    • Ensure alignment with the broader brand marketing strategy by working with brand teams to maintain a consistent tone, look, and feel across all ecommerce and digital touchpoints.
    • Work closely with platform-specific teams to stay updated on best practices, new features, and promotional opportunities, ensuring content is optimized for each platform’s unique audience and algorithm.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in content creation, creative design, and/or digital marketing in an FMCG or eCommerce environment.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SEO and digital content best practices for all platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize content accordingly.
  •  Ability to develop innovative ideas that resonate with the target audience and stand out in a competitive marketplace.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively across teams.
