SUMMARY

  • To manage & grow epay’s distributor, MBXP in the Nordics as well as our direct accounts.
  • To be the P&L owner and develop epay to a full service provider across the 4 Countries
  • Develop and launch epay’s own 2 step multi retailer card across all 4 countries
  • Establish epay’s presence with digital retailers, apps, e-commerce platforms.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Strategic

  • Develop, drive and execute the strategic foundation of the business so that epay becomes a leading gift card and payment services provider in the Nordics: including marketing, business models, investment plans and sales strategy
  • Identify and deliver new revenue streams, in particular drive the introduction & evolution of epay’s own brands such as You Choose and xeSIM
  • Drive epay’s presence with digital partners such as Brick & mortar retailers, e-commerce platforms, apps, banks both B2C and B2B
  • Work with (in particular) the Regional Director as part of the global epay Management Team
  • Identify & onboard new content partners and accounts for epay.
  • Leadership of strategic relationships, channel distribution and brand Partners.

Sales

  • Develop and lead sales strategies, marketing plans and account retention programs
  • Negotiate with current potential clients and conclude profitable agreements with internal departments including legal, tax and finance.
  • Ensure sales focus across a broad selection of retailers physical & digital


Business Development

  • Direct short-term and long-term planning to support strategic business goals
  • Lead business development opportunities in the Nordics with the objective of diversifying the revenue streams of the Company
  • Maintain a continuously up-to-date knowledge and understanding of these markets, the Company’s opportunities, challenges, competitors and best means to continuously grow our business
  • Develop and maintain key connections within the industry.


Operations

  • Direct day-to-day operations to meet the budget and client SLA’s
  • Manager long-term relationships with Customers and Service Providers in conjunction with internal support as required to fulfil the Company’s commercial agreements and build the business
  • Ensure the business is delivering best in class customer support and service.

Finance

  • Manage overall costs and provide variance reporting, analysis and justification
  • Preparation of the annual budget for the Nordics
  • Ensure the business and financial internal control environments are sound. Develop controls in areas where weaknesses exist.

Meetings and Reviews

  • Attend regular marketing meetings i.e. IT and Management meetings in Munich, UK and Euronet Group as required
  • Ensure smooth running of day-to-day operation matters, providing visibility to Senior Management
  • Production of Monthly Management Report summarising financial data in business context for Senior Management
  • Provide regular status reports to Senior Management in the form of presentations, project plans and teleconferences


Other

  • Develop a deep understanding of the epay business across each individual market including Retail Distribution, Product and Supplier Partnerships, Business and Commercial models, local market dynamics and the payment landscape
  • Be a go-to person and strategic leader within the Company
  • Other duties, special projects, and special reporting as assigned
  • Be available to undertake such travel as the Company may require from time-to-time
Requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in working with Retailers in Gift Cards, Telco, Electronic Payments, or a related industry
  • At least 5 years business experience in a Sales Business Development role
  • Self motivated and ability work/travel independently
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps
  • Fluent English
  • IT Services educational background would be an advantage
