The function
Country Lead – Poland, Czechia and Slovakia
Reporting to the Executive Director of the EEI Cluster Business Lead, the Organon Country Lead for Poland manages country marketing and sales P&L and is responsible for driving the strategic direction, commercial growth, and operational success of the Organon business within the Polish market.
The incumbent works with cross-functional teams, manages key stakeholder relationships, and ensures compliance while achieving revenue and market share targets.
The incumbent also drives continuous improvement initiatives to meet financial and operational performance, in full compliance with Code of Conduct, all Governmental laws and regulations and in line with the Company Code of Conduct, Policies and Procedures.
The Poland Country Lead manages a team of 3 managers and 10 employees, to ensure the achievement of a revenue target for the Company of around 30 M Euros.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute the country-specific strategic business plan in alignment with cluster objectives.

Identify market opportunities and trends, ensuring innovative solutions to meet evolving healthcare needs.

Ensure portfolio optimization in Poland.
2. Commercial & Sales Management
-
Oversee all commercial activities while leading cross functional integration of sales, marketing, and market access strategies.

Lead and manage high-performing sales teams to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders such as healthcare providers, government agencies, distributors and pharmacies.
3. Financial Management

Manage the country P&L, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.

Optimize budget allocations and ensure cost-effective operations.

Provide accurate forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
4. Compliance Oversight
-
Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across all operations.

Ensure strict adherence to local regulatory and legal requirements.
5. People Leadership

Build and lead a diverse, engaged, and motivated team.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Strong leadership skills in leading the vertical organization and proactively taking initiative to coordinate efforts in a matrix organization

Deep understanding of the Polish pharmaceutical market, regulatory environment, and healthcare system.

At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including leadership roles and a solid understanding of multiple disciplines of pharmaceutical business, such as market access, sales force effectiveness, business operations, finance etc.

At Least 5 years of experience in leading teams/people management

History of top performance of project accomplishment and leadership excellence with strong leadership focused on leading cross-functional teams to results.

Proven success of change and innovation management combined with the right sense of priority, focus, and results.

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Business

MBA and/or advanced degree preferred.
This position requires readiness to travel across the country and Cluster - up to 50% travel
