  • Licensed in good standing to practice law; 6+ years legal experience, including 3+ years relevant experience focused on digital marketplaces and/or videogames (in-house experience at a fast-paced technology company preferred)
  • Familiarity with global legal frameworks regulating digital marketplaces (consumer protection, IP, intermediary liability of online platforms, content moderation, privacy, online safety, AI, marketing, merchandising, etc.)
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and outside counsel
  • Proficiency in prioritization and management of multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, from inception to completion
  • Curiosity in following and engaging global legal trends and emerging legal and policy issues
  • Strong issue-spotting skills; agile in prioritizing and meeting deadlines
  • A natural problem-solver and strategic thinker, comfortable with ambiguity and able to bring structure to challenging situations
  • Tech-savvy and have hands-on experience working with legal technology and legal technologists to drive process and efficiency in an in-house legal department
  • Familiarity with the videogame industry, e-commerce, and digital content distribution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, an ability to operate autonomously as a legal generalist and as an expert in digital marketplaces while exercising good judgment about escalation and collaboration, and confidence in being a primary legal point of contact for Epic’s marketplaces
