Job Description
As a Cost Specialist you will analyze, calculate and control the result of a business area; provide reliable financial data and propose strategies for making financial decisions for the plant as well as coordinate central processes and department projects assigned to you.
Work description
• Analyze the results of the manufacturing area and the assigned business unit according to the designated parameters and deliver the respective reports in a timely manner.
• Provide explanations, proposals and reliable data based on what was analyzed to support plant financial control decisions.
• Conduct research related to the results of the analyzes to improve or correct deviations in the processes.
• Identify areas of opportunity to improve business profitability and develop the corresponding measures.
• Keep the respective documentation of each assigned process up to date and in accordance with internal policies.
• Actively participate in improvements, workshops and consultations related to assigned processes.
• Ensure, through control points, the quality, reliability and correct functioning of the assigned processes.
• Serve as a link between control and manufacturing areas, promoting cost awareness and expense reduction for better profitability.
• Provide data analysis support and proposals for strict expense control
• Actively participate in the presentation of results, workshops and projects related to the assigned business unit.
• Coordinate central processes within the department, ensuring compliance with objectives, deliveries, quality, cooperation and requirements.
• Coordinate interdepartmental improvement projects in special processes, ensuring compliance with objectives, deliveries, quality, cooperation and requirements.
• Coordinate, propose and implement continuous improvements in the processes and tasks assigned constantly, always maintaining the required quality and reliability standards.
Qualifications
Education: Economics and Administrative Sciences or similar.
Advanced experience:
-General Accounting
-Cost accounting
-SAP UBK-RM Modules UG, UP
-Analysis of profit and loss statements
Competences:
