For our ambitious and growing finance team in Copenhagen, we are seeking an analytical, methodical, and self-driven Cost Controller. Reporting to Manager Financial Reporting, you will take a leading role in our CSRD reporting, overseeing, and managing cost tracking and analysis, including profitability calculations, to support our COGS and Reimbursed Revenue recognition.
About the Department
The Finance Department is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an efficient and timely financial reporting and control system for the Copenhagen organization and the AGC Group. We create value-oriented processes and systems that offer financial insights into business activities and objectives, enabling better decision-making. Our team supports business growth through proper financial planning and resource allocation, fulfills fiscal responsibilities by managing assets, monitors financial results, and provides timely status reports on fiscal performance.
About the Role
As our Cost controller you will play a key role in our CSRD reporting as well as being responsible for COGS and Inventory. You will collaborate closely with our sustainability & EHS group, Supply Chain Management, our Business Finance/FP&A team, and controller team.
Your Primary Tasks Will Include:

CSRD controlling and Reporting for the annual report.

Review inventory/COGS transactions and perform analysis and controlling of cost prices.

Reimbursed Revenue analysis and controlling.

Capture, reconcile, validate data, and participate in Standard Cost calculation.

Month-close procedures.

Support COGS and Reimbursed revenue recognition and forecasting accuracy.

Generate reporting packages with analysis for key stakeholders.

Analyze our numbers thoroughly, examine trends, ask pertinent questions, and provide support to decision-makers.

Improve reporting and processes.

Assisting with Compliance, Interim, and Year-end audits

Support our FP&A team with data, assist in financial audit preparations, and participate in various finance and cross-functional projects.
Your Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in economics, finance, business administration, or similar, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auditing/finance/controlling.

Experience with CSRD reporting or understanding there off is an advantage but we will ensure that you receive CSRD support and relevant CSRD training.

Experience with COGS and inventory transactions is an advantage.

A "hands-on" approach and the ability to work independently.

A passion for working with data, creating more visibility and transparency, and presenting data in an easily understandable way.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in financial and economic analyses, driving process improvement, and collaborating with different stakeholders throughout the business.

Experience with ERP D365/Axapta is an advantage, along with strong Excel skills.

Fluency in verbal and written English with an international mindset.
