About you and this role:

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accountant / Incentive Coordinator located in Calgary or Fort Saskatchewan (AB, CAN).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for data recording, analysis, and metrics reporting of government-required information to ensure compliance with government-funded projects.

  • Identifying building, and implementing new processes, technology, and solutions for data collection that are government-compliant and audit-ready.

  • Analyze, record, and report information to government to maintain compliance with government-subsidized projects.

  • Work cross-functionally to collect data and prepare for reporting cycles and audits, as needed.

  • Maintains data reporting systems, practices and processes to achieve results and/or improve accuracy. Handling multiple projects with minimal or no supervision.

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills

  • Accurately and reliably records and reads data

  • Strong multi-tasking, problem solving, and time management skills

  • Working knowledge of standard computer software (Microsoft applications, SAP) and the ability to rapidly learn specialty software for the role.


Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance OR above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.

  • New CPA certification or pursuing CPA.

  • A minimum of 1-year relevant experience is required.

  • A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including any type of permanent residency support.

Additional Notes:

  • This position can be located in either Calgary or Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada.

  • This position does not offer relocation assistance.
